There are three consecutive numbers. the sum of the first two numbers is 47 more than the third number. what are the three numbers?

    X + x + 1 = 47 + x + 2

    2x + 1 = 49 + x

    2x + 1 - 1 = 49-1 + x

    2x-x = 48 + x-x

    x = 48

    x+1 = 49

    x+2=50

    48 + (48 + 1) = 47 + (48 + 2)

    48 + 49 = 47 + 50

    97=97
