If Jordan buys a big drum and the diameter of a drum circle is 12 feet what is the area of the drum?

    You would use the radius because the formula for the area of a circle is A = Pi * radius^2 so you would divide the diameter by 2. Your radius is 6 so 6^2 is equal to 36 ... 36 times Pi would simplify to be your answer.
