Using interval notation, identify the domain for the function: f (x) = x^2-9/x^2-7x+12

    The function is undefined when denominator is 0 or

    x² - 7x + 12 = 0

    (x-3) (x-4) = 0

    x = 3 or 4 is disallowed so answer is

    (-∞,3] union [3,4] union [4,∞)
