The weight of an elephant is 10 time power of 3 the weight of a cat. If the elephant weighs 14,000 pounds, how many pounds does the cat weigh? How did you find the answer?

    The weight of the cat is 14 pounds. I found my answer by reading the 10 time power of 3, which I know is 1,000. Then, I got 14,000 divide by 1,000, and I got 14.
