    Arewar Virtuoso is right because 43 can not divide with anything but 1 & itself (43) !

    No, she is not correct.

    A "composite" is a number that can be divided evenly (no decimals) by something other than itself (43) and 1.

    43 has no other numbers that can divide into it and leave it a whole number.
