    Let's look at something. If we had a rectangular solid that has dimensions of 1,1, and 2, the volume would be 2. If we doubled the dimensions to 2,2, and 4, it would be 16. That is 8 times the size of the initial solid.

    If we take this and apply it on this solid, the volume would be 256.

    Let's say the dimensions are 2,2, and 8. If we double it, it would be 4,4, and 16, the volume would be 256.

    So, the volume would be 256 units³.
