A builder buys 24.5 acres of land to develop a new community of homes and parks. The builder plans to use 0.25 of the land for a park. how many acres will he use for the park?

    0.25 is the same as 1/4 so we have to find what is 1/4 of 24.5. To find this we need to divide 24.5 by 4. 24.5 : 4 = 6.125
