When is periodic data useful? Give examples to support your answer.

    Periodic data is useful when you have to calculate measurements, estimates, temperature or other factors. Of the examples would be determining the wavelength of the ocean or tides. From the word itself "period", data will show the progress or changes from a given period of time.
