    X+2/6=3/x-1

    Fist multiple both sides by 6 to get the one side to become a whole number

    6 (x+2/6) = 6 (3/x-1)

    X+2=18/x-1

    Then get both the x's on the same side by multiplying

    (X-1) (x+2) = (x-1) (18/x-1)

    (X-1) (x+2) = 18

    Now multiply the binomial

    X^2+x-2=18

    Next set the equation equal to zero

    X^2+x-20

    Now factor (what two numbers when added equal 1 and multiply to equal - 20)

    (X-4) (x+5)

    Set both equal to zero and solve

    X-4=o x+5=o

    X=4 X=-5
