A mean is where you add all the numbers and divide it by the amount of numbers. Ex (2,3,1) it makes 6 so divide it by 3, it is 2!

A median is where you find the middle

Ex: (3,4, (5),4,7) the answer is 5 because its in the middle but if the middle is an even (3,4 (5,6),6,7) you times the middle and divide by 2

The mean is the "average" you're used to, where you add up all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers. The "median " is the "middle" value in the list of numbers.
