    The length of each board will be 3 * root (4, 10) feet

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The parameters given are;

    The length, L₁, of each board in the bundle = 5 * root (4, 10) feet

    The length, Lₓ, to be cut off from each board in the bundle = 2 * root (4, 10) feet

    Therefore, the length, L₂, of each of the boards after removing the 2 * root (4, 10) sections of the wood would be given as follows;

    L₂ = 5 * root (4, 10) feet - 2 * root (4, 10) feet = 3 * root (4, 10) feet
