How high would a stack of 1 million quarters be? (Assume a quarter is 1.75 mm thick.)

    1,750,000 mm high i would say

    1.75 mm = 1.75 x 10⁻³ meter

    1 million = 1 x 10⁶

    (1 x 10⁶) x (1.75 x 10⁻³ m) = 1.75 x 10³ m = 1,750 meters
