Number of red and blue drops to make purple paint are 1200 and 800.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    We are given that,

The total amount of the purple paint is 50 gallons.

    As, 1 gallon = 8 pints.

    So, 50 gallons = 50 * 8 = 400 pints.

    Since, we have,

The number of red drops to make 1 pint of the purple paint = 3

Then, number of red drops to make 400 pints of purple paint = 400 * 3 = 1200

Also, The number of blue drops to make 1 pint of the purple paint = 2

Then, number of blue drops to make 400 pints of purple paint = 400 * 2 = 800

Hence, the number of red and blue drops to make purple paint are 1200 and 800.
