George weighed 170 lbs when he started college. If he gains just 0.25 lbs after each month for 4 years of college, how much will he weigh? What if he keeps that weight gain for the next 6 years after college?

    He would gain 12lb. for 4 years and the total would be 182lb.

    For 6 years it would be 18lb.

    The first thing you need to do is make the 6 years into months = 12 x 6 = 72

    Then multiply 72 by 0.25 = 18lb. + 170 = 188lb.

    The answer would be 188lb. for 6 years

    and 182 for 4 years.
