    6x - 4 < 2x |add 4 to both sides

    6x < 2x + 4 |subtract 2x from both sides

    4x < 4 |divide both sides by 4

    x < 1

    -4x ≤ - 12 |change signs

    4x ≥ 12 |divide both sides by 4

    x ≥ 3

    Answer: x.
