A ball is thrown from a height of 105 feet with an initial downward velocity of 9 ft/s. The ball's height h (in feet) after t seconds is given by the following.

h = 105 - 9t-16t^2

    t2 = (-b - √ b^2 - 4ac) / 2a

    t1 = (9 + √ (-9^2 - (4 * (-16) * 105))) / 2 * (-16)

    t1 = (9 + √ (-81 + 6720)) / - 32

    t1 = (9 + √6639) / - 32

    t1 = (9 + 81.84) / - 32
