    X intercepts are where y=0

    0=x^2+1x-42

    0 = (x-6) (x+7)

    set to zero

    x-6=0

    x=6

    x+7=0

    x=-7

    x intercepts are (-7,0) and (6,0)

    y intercept is where x=0

    y=0^2+0-42

    y=-42

    y intercept is (0,-42)

    x intercepts at (-7,0) and (6,0)

    y intercept at (0,-42)
