If a plane can travel 450450 miles per hour with the wind and 410410 miles per hour against the wind, find the speed of the wind and the speed of the plane in still air.

    The plane speed in still air is the average of the two speeds: 430 miles/hour.

    The wind speed is half the difference of the two speeds: 20 miles/hour.
