Fatima is making sandwiches for her friends and buys 3 loaves of bread. Fatima likes to put 3 bread slices in her sandwich but will use 2 for all of her friends. If each loaf of bread has 20 slices, how many sandwiches, including her own, can Fatima make?

    Three loaves of bread with 20 slices each is 60 slices total. 60-3 slices for Fatima's sandwich is 57 slices remaining. 57/2=26.5. In total, Fatima can make 27 sandwiches and will have one slice of bread left over.
