    X=50 dollars Y=0.4 dollars

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Starting with the two equations:

    $90 = X (truck cost) + Y (cost per km) * 100km

    and

    110=X+Y*150

    we solve the first equation for X: X = 90-100Y

    and plug X into the second equation: 110=90-100Y+150Y

    add like terms: 20=50Y

    so Y = 2/5 or. 4

    Plug Y into the first equation: 90 = X+100 (.4)

    Evaluate: 90 = 40+X so X = 50
