bill gets $0.05 for each can $0.20 for each glass bottle he returns to the recycling center yesterday he returned 32 cans and 10 bottles how much did bill earn show your work or explain your reasoning

    32 x 0.05 (because there are are 32 cans that are worth 5 cents each) = 160 cents ($1.60)

    Then:

    10 x 0.20 (10 bottles that are worth 20 cents each) = $2

    Then plus them together

    Answer = $3.60
