    The given here is the perimeter of the rectangle which is 36 in. The formula for a rectangle's perimeter is P (rectangle) = 2 (w + h) or P (rectangle) = w + w + h + h

    The answer here is 7 x 11.

    Check the answer by substituting.

    w=7

    h=11

    36 in = 2 (w + h)

    36 in = 2 (7) + 2 (11)

    36 in = 14 + 22

    36 in = 36
