Which direction does the graph of the equation shown below open? right, left, up, or down? x^2+6x-4y+5=0

    X^2 + 6x - 4y + 5 = 0

    4y = x^2 + 6x + 5

    y = 1/4x^2 + 3/2x + 5/4

    Since, x is the squred part and x^2 has a positive coefficient, therefore, the graph opens up.
