Population and variables are different terms, they are very different from each other.
The population is the set or collection of each possible unit that we want to measure. The population might be very large.
For Example: (a). Students who get above 80 marks in Statistics test.
(b). The senior citizen in Australia.
Variable is the descriptive label or number associated with each member of the population. it is the characteristic of the population.
For example: (a). Female Students in those students.
(b) Blood - Pressure patient in that senior citizen.
