    A^2+B^2=C^2

    (-3,5) ^2 + (1,4) ^2 = (-1,0) ^2

    (8) ^2 + (-3) ^2 = (1) ^2

    (64) + (-9) = 1

    55=1

    55 does not equal 1. therefore, it is not a right triangle
