We are given that in one cheese burger, the amount of meat that it contains is a half pound, so:

    meat in a cheese burger = 0.5 pound / cheese burger - - - > 1

We are also given that the total pounds of meat available for making the cheese burger is:

    total meat available = 50 2 / 3 pounds

if expressed in decimal form is also equivalent to:

    total meat available = 152 / 3 pounds = 50.67 pounds - - - > 2

Therefore to get the amount of burgers that can be make, we divide 2 by 1 to get units in cheese burger:

number of cheese burger = 50.67 pounds / (0.5 pound / cheese burger)

number of cheese burger = 101.33

Therefore about 101 cheese burgers can be made.
