The math team does practice drills that last 1/6 hour. in February the team did drills for a total of 24 hrs. How many drills did the math team do in February?

    First, we need to take 24 hours and divide it by 1/6th of an hour. Or, we can simply multiply 24 hours by 60 (to get minutes) and then take the 1/6th of an hour into 10 minutes. 24 x 60 = 1440 minutes. 1440 minutes total divided by 10, the length of the drill gets us 144 drills.
