A parking space shaped like a parallelogram has a base of 18 feet and a height is 7 feet. A car parked in the space is 16 feet long and 6 feet wide. How much of the parking space is not covered by the car?

    Well the area of the parking space is 126 FT squared. The formula for a parallelogram is b*h

    18*7

    The car parking space area is 96 FT squared. Again the formula is b*h

    16*6
