    2g (x) + 2x=4

    2 (g (x) + x) = 2 (2)

    g (x) + x = 2

    g (x) = 2 - x

    To get y intercept,

    put x=0

    g (x) = 2 - 0

    g (x) = 2

    So, y intercept = 2
