You are going to write five statements about the sun. Your clues must be three words or less and they cannot use any part of the object you are describing. These "clues" will be taken from information you have learned in this lesson. Sounds easy right?

For example, if I were to give you clues about the moon, some clues that I would use are:

Out at night Neil Armstrong walked

Has phases Causes tides

Has dark side

Get it? Great it is pretty easy. All you have to do is come up with 5 three word clues for each of these things that relate to the sun! Good luck!

    There are five 3 word clues for each of the things related to the sun.

    Corona - Aura of plasma, The sun's crown, Observed with coronagraph, Has High Temperature, Hard to see

    Solar Prominence - Flame-like ember tongues, Large sun eruptions, One day formation, Affect solar atmosphere, Lasts for days

    Solar Flare - Flash of brightness, Over sun's surface, Spectrum of emissions, Occur around sunspots, Ejects electron clouds

    Sunspots - A temporary phenomena, On sun's surface, 11-year solar cycle, It appears dark, Expand and contract
