Use the percent equation (x/25 = 20/100). X represents the discount, 25 is the original price, 20 is the discount, and 100 is the total percent. To do this you would do 25 x 20 = 500 and 100 x (X) = 100x. Now you divide 500 by 100 which would give a final answer of $5.00.

The discount on the flash is a total of $5.00, because 20% of 25.00 is 5.00.
