Esteban has 236 trading cards that he wants to put in storage boxes. Each box holds 18 trading cards. If he puts 18 trading cards in every box, how many trading cards will be left over

    Divide the total cards by 18:

    236 / 18 = 13.111

    Use the whole number and multiply by 18:

    13 x 18 = 234

    This means 234 cards would be in storage boxes.
