For 20 months, Molly deposited $86.50, so she deposited a total of 86.5 * 20, namely 1730 bucks.

now, every month she deflated her account by $24.50 to pay for her singing lessons, she did that every month, namely for 20 months so she deflated the account balance by 24.5 * 20, or 490 bucks.

    so, she deposited 1730 and deflated it by 490, 1730 - 490 = 1240, that's all that's left in the account.

for the Summer Camp, she spent 1/4 of that, what's a quarter of that? well is just their product, (1/4) * 1240.
