    I) 2X+3Y = 3

    II) 7X-3Y = 24

    of the equation ii obtain X, 7x-3y = 24⇒ 7X = 24+3Y⇒X = 24 + 3Y / 7

    then substitute it value in equation I

    2 (24+3y) / 7 + 3Y = 3

    48/7+6y/7 + 3y = 3

    48+6y+21y = 21

    27y = 21-48

    27y = - 27

    y = - 1

    substitute in any equation to obtain x

    7x-3y = 24

    7x-3 (-1) = 24

    7x = 24-3

    7x = 21

    x = 21/7 = 3

    the option C (3,-1)
