    24 trees per row

    1235 trees to plant

    1235 / 24 = 51 remainder 11

There will be 11 trees left over

    1,235 divided by 24 = 51 with a remainder of 11

He can build a complete row of 24, and then plant them, 51 times.

After planting row #51, he will have 11 trees left over.
