Gershon created a pattern using shapes. He used 6 circles and 9 squares in his pattern. He created a second pattern with the same ratio of circles to squares. If there are 10 circles in his new pattern, how many squares are there?

    circle=6

    square=9

    circle = 10

    square=? or x

    ratio

    6:10::9:x

    product of mean = product of extreme

    6x = 9*10

    6x=90

    x=90/6

    x=15

    so there will be 15 square
