You have an order to give a patient a 1 loter NS bolus in 2 hours, then 100ml/hr for 12 hours. what is the total mls of fluid the patient will receive in 6 hours?

    1 liter = 1000ml, this will be given in the first 2 hours. The patient will receive 100ml/hr for the next 4 hours which will be 400ml. 1000ml+400ml = 1400ml in 6 hours. 1400ml = 1.4L
