If the world population in 2010 is 6.7 million and the rate of growth is by 1.19 percent per year, what will the estimated world population be by 2050?

    I believe the world population should be 6,700,000,000

    Ending Population = Beginning Population * (1 + rate) ^years

    Ending Population = 6,700,000,000 * (1.19) ^40

    Ending Population = 7,046,172,293,951

    or rounded about 7,046,000,000

    (About 7.046 billion)
