A car is traveling at a rate of 60 miles per hour. Let d represent the distance traveled and h the number of hours of travel. Which student modeled the situation correctly?

Natalia's work h = m + 60

Tam's work 60h = d

Benito's work 60d = h

Jolon's work m = 60 - h

    Tam's work ... distance is equal to the constant speed of 60mph times the amount of time traveled. If the time is less than a whole it would be 60 times the decimal or fraction equivalent of the number.
