A new automobile engine can run on a mixture of gasoline and a substitute fuel. If gas costs $ 2.75 $ 2.75 per gallon and the substitute costs 60 60 ¢ per gallon, what percent of a mixture must be substitute to bring the cost down to $ 2.00 $ 2.00 per gallon?

    2.75 - 2.00 = 0.75 = 75 ¢, and 75/60 = 5/4 = 125%. Don't blame me if I'm wrong, because I'm only in fifth grade.
