    By definition, the volume of the cylinder is:

    V = (pi) * (r ^ 2) * (h)

    Where,

    r: Radio

    h: height

    We write the equation in function to the diameter:

    V = (pi) * ((d / 2) ^ 2) * (h)

    Rewriting:

    V = (1/4) * (pi) * (d ^ 2) * (h)

    Clearing the diameter:

    d = root ((4 * V) / (pi * h))

    Substituting values:

    d = root ((4 * 96) / (3.14 * 6))

    d = 4.5 meters

    Answer:

    The length of the diameter of this cylinder is:

    d = 4.5 meters
