The ratio of soccer players to volleyball players on the bus was 5:3. if there were a total of 48 players on the bus, how many were volleyball players

    18 volley ball players - Because multiply 5 by 6 and you get 30 soccer players.

    Multiply 3 x 6 and you get 18 volleyball players.
