    The y intercept is very easy to find, the formula for a equation in slope intercept form is y = mx + b. In this equation, the "b" is the y - intercept. So in this case the y - intercept is - 2. For the x - intercept plug in 0 for y

    0 = 3x - 2

    +2 + 2

    2 = 3x

    x = 3/2

    x - intercept: 3/2

    y - intercept: - 2
