In a recipe for cookies, the ratio of flour to sugar is 7:2. If the amount

of ingredients is tripled in order to make more cookies, the ratio of flour to

sugar would then be

    It would still be 7:2 because when tripled, you triple both numbers, so you get 21: 6, which is the same thing as 7:2, but you just use more. And for ratios, they usually want them to be in simplest form, so it is d) 7:2. The ratio does not change when you triple both sides.
