A students cell phone plan has a monthly charge of $40 for 600 minuets of uses and a 0.25/minutes charge for each additional minute. Last month, the student talked on the phone for 790minutes. Which is the following is the bill for month?

    So they went 190 minutes over her allowed 600. Multiply 190x. 25 (price per minute and number of minutes) to get 47.5 and then add that to 40 (the monthly charge. $87.50 is her bill for the month.
