    g (x) - f (x) = x^2 - 9 - (2 - x^1/2)

    = x^2 + x^1/2 - 11

negative x gives no real value for this function because x^1/2 is not defined for negative x

    the domain is x > = 0 or in interval notation [0, ∞)
