Simplify 1/5 (20x + 50) to 20x + 50/5
subtract 2 from both sides
factor out the common term 10
simplify 10 (2x + 5) / 5 to 2 (2x + 5)
simplify 68 - 2 to 66
divide both sides by 2
simplify 66/2 to 33
subtract 5 from both sides
simplify 33 - 5 to 28
divide both sides by 2
simplify 28/2 to 14
Answer: x = 14
