    area = 144ft^2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    width = x

    length = 4x

    perimeter = 2 (4x+x)

    60/2=5x

    30=5x

    x=30/5

    x=6

    width 6 feet

    length 4 (6)

    = 24

    area = length * width

    =6*24

    =144ft^2
