Suppose the tree growers asked 10 different questions about Christmas tree preferences in an effort to find differences between urban and rural residents. Explain why it would be unwise to perform 10 different 2-sample significance tests (α = 0.05) on their data and conclude that any significant result establishes a difference between the two groups.

The results will be very confusing as you will be concluding different results for each question. This will also require lot of time. Also drawing a single conclusion will be very difficult. An alternate could be to use matched pair t test.

    Step-by-step explanation:

Two sample t test is used to compare means of two independent group

Matched pair is used to find out if there is difference in means of two matched sets of a data.
