Two minutes after a skydiver opens his parachute, he has descended 1,900 feet. after 5 minutes, descended 4,750 feet. if the distance varies directly with the time, at what rate is the skydiver descending?

    1900 / 2 = 950

    4750/5 = 950

    Why do you do this? Because you are trying to find the amount of ft per minute.
